Infinity II continues the series of Infinity artworks. Graphically and architecturally developing the hidden sculptural form of Infinity I, Alex Knapic proposes a new surface of a perfectly demanding square.
The discovered and open surface of the infinite plane allows the viewer to closely observe and follow the traces of framed streams , rivers and small precious fields… each with its own history, material, colour and texture. There is no equal but together they create a unique, perfect game. Knapic creates a mosaic musicality which can be seen in this repetition where glazed notes of glass, marble, enamel and aluminum develop an incredible symphony. The relationship between texture and form is balanced creating a harmonic surface. It is an artwork that allows the viewers to see the hidden and intricate paths, mysterious passages and wormholes that underline the moments not to be forgotten.
