Eda Baysal Turkey, b. 1973

Eda Baysal (1973) is a Turkish Contemporary Artist living in İstanbul. She studied Art and Fashion Design in İstanbul and San Francisco.

In her work, the artist plays with 3-dimensional shapes, crafting each piece in complexity to engage the viewer on multiple levels. Through this process, Artist is forming a positive state of mind, where the contrasts in colors evoke different emotions. Her art achieves a balance between complexity and harmony, by putting thousands of shapes and pieces together. Artist believes that, there is a spirit in all the shapes she is creating, each one telling its own story. As the artist often reflects,
