Infinity Black One is an installation in wood that depicts infinity in a limited space and alludes to the artist’s premise that each part of a certain picture always represents a whole, similar to the Big Bang Theory and how a single blink gives a reflection of the eternal rhythm.
It is a black monochrome piece where thick, unevenly cut strips of wood are vertically arranged, forming a labyrinth-like structure that leads to a narrower, more congested area that is made up of smaller rectangular forms at the bottom of the artwork. The infinite field of view of these unbridled raster grids is reminiscent of saturated black city streets, of the blood flow in which the eternity of impaired health is and the future ends exactly at that resting place.
